These are lumps of white paraffin wax. When melted down, they can be used to seal end grain on timber. They can also be used as a lubricant or to make french polish. Add 1/2lb of wax to 1 pint of turps.
Will clean and restore any wooden surface to its original appearance. Removes the dulling film of old wax, spray polishes & house dust which build up. Leaves a perfect surface to apply a fresh coat of wax. Formulated over 100 years ago and has been used ever since.
Market leader in friction polish. After sanding surface very smooth, seal with cellulose/lacacote sanding sealer. The sealer is wiped on. Sand sealer slightly when dry. then apply friction polish while wood is turning. Use lint free cloth. when build is achieved, finish with wax carnauba wax stick.
A tough hardwearing, water, heat and alcohol resistant finish. Excellent for worktops, bathroom areas and outside furniture. Apply at least 3/4 coats for kitchen worktops every 5-8 hours minimum. After 1/2 years if surface is over-used and worn abrade surface and reapply. Fine wire wool when dry will produce a matt finish.
Pigmented white to constrast the grain of open grain timber especially oak. Apply then buff to a shine. Seal the colour in with white wax(clear beeswax). Only suitable for decorative furniture.
